Was just browsing through the photos, fond memories.
Did not manage to go back to Stnicks for sports day:(, blue house was in second, surprisingly red was first! Still prefered last years sports carnival over the other 9 years of sports carnival i participated. Love emcee-ing with Wang Lin, the crazy girl :) from ELDDs. Together with some other primary school kids (who tried to steal our limelight...) Still remembered the time when i accidentally knocked mrs chua and the first thing i did was to look at her stomach and asked if the baby was okay. How embarrassing.
I miss the times when we just sat aroung singing hokkien songs (?) and just chatting about tv shows. I can still rmb Mrs Hu's expression when she came in to class and we were all talking about tv show (korean, jap, american, taiwan, hong kong). It was nearing the o levels and yet we were still talking abt tv and books. I bet they were worried for our class. But in the end, we still did well overall, YAY!
I miss quoting the teachers, especially miss tan and miss poore's comment. "girls, let's do a communal sweep. and the mathematical songs we sang." miss tan's favourite "Wind deflects to the Right in the Northern Hemisphere and deflects to the left in the southern hemisphere! " as we chant along. Was pretty upset when we did not get 100% distinction for geography sinec we were her only class. But she was already proud of us. (:
We were so bonded together as a class maybe because we were the only pure geog class in stnicks. During assembly everyone would be so amused by us, as all of us look up at the sky and started crapping about the weather and the cloud cover. (By the way today's cloud cover is 1 oktas, with cirrus clouds)
ah good times! must go back to st nicks one day!
Had friendlies with RJ and SAJc today. :)
Managed to win Rj and SA. Match with RJ was tiring, seems like the sun is draining my energy twice faster than normal. The match was pretty horrible at first with very little flow and defence not as a line. But as the matches go on, we did get better, at least we had flow.
SA match was actually quite entertaining, with this girl wearing dark blue/ black boot with a yellow boot. Gosh she just kept side stepping! and the way she side step was ehhem quite funny. angela and xue li had a hard time i guess. She just couldn't run straight. But she is damn fast lar!
match with SA ended 3-2, good game by SA. Joyce love to dive!!! She never fails to dive everytime! The rest of the team performed their best. Overheard RJ saying we were quite fast. :)
The last match against RJ was really want- to-die, the sun is mean to us! no cloud cover at the place we place. I think we were all cooled down. But Defence was much better compared to the first match we had. we managed to keep it 1-0(thanks joyce for telling me, so we did win. yay! good try by joyce! did she dive?) hahahaha, her favourite past time!
Overall, gotta sai that we improved alot after the m1 touch series. Go touch rug! (:
